My thoughts on The Saem phyto seven cleansing oil
I simply love cleansing oils. My skin is super dry and oils is always a really good ingredient for my skin.
Usually I double cleanse. But if I don’t feel that my skin needs it (if I haven’t been using heavy sun screen or BB creams). I simply use an oil cleanser as my only cleanser.
The Saem phyto seven cleansing oil is blue. At first glance my thoughts were why do they need to add coloring. But when looking at the ingredient list I realize that the blue comes from Guaiazulene which is a dark blue crystalline hydrocarbon. Guaiazulene has a lot of benefits. For example anti-inflammatory. I will not go into this deeper. But the color makes it really cool.
As for cleansing properties it does a great job in cleansing my skin. I do feel I have to use a little bit more product compared to a lot of other cleansing oils. You need a little oil on the skin to massage and to get the product on your face to dissolve. But I cant say that I have to use a huge amount.
Since it is an oil it will blur your eyesight for a while if you get it into your eyes. But it wont sting your eyes.
Packaging
The packaging is just spot on. It comes in a white pump bottle and I think it looks nice and fresh. Pump bottles is easiest when it comes to oil cleansers. If they would come in a regular bottle it is easy to get too much products. And who needs the waste.
After washing it off it doesn’t leave an oily surface on my skin. I know this is a problem with a few oil cleansers. But it is really nothing I noticed very often with the products I’ve tried.
Contains African walnut and jojoba seed oils which helps with deep pore cleaning. I cant say I’ve noticed any difference, but I don’t have huge pores either.
There is only one negative thing I can say and that is the scent. I think it is common knowledge (if you followed me for some time) that I really don’t like strongly scented products. This is what makes me not buying it again. But I do really like it and I think it is an amazing product
I give this product 6/7
