My thoughts on Village 11 Factory Ultra Facial Cream

This is a cream I received together with another purchase from Yesstyle. Simply it is a product that I do a review on and I get to test it for free. My thoughts will always be my own.

The brand Village 11 factory is quite new to me and I haven’t tried any of their products out. I love when I get the opportunity to try products out that I probably wouldn’t buy on my own. There are a lot of hidden holy grail products out there. You just need to find the once that work for you.

I will start by saying that my skin type is super dry and I am always on the lookout for a great moisturizer.

Packaging

Village 11 Factory Ultra Facial Cream comes in a tub. It is not the most practical packaging and I do prefer my moisturizers to come in a tube in stead. This is simply due to hygienic reasons and I do prefer not to dip into a tub. I did think it was a little weird that they didn’t include a spatula. This is not a problem for me since I do save my spatulas and always have one at hand. But for people who don’t, I think it is really simple for a brand to add a plastic spatula to their packaging.

Village 11 Factory Ultra Facial Cream is a really lightweight cream and when just looking at its texture it doesn’t feel super moisturizing. But I have learned through time, not to judge a product on how light it feels because it can still be super moisturizing.

When I try moisturizers I do that together with a lot of other product since I do follow the Korean skincare routine and by doing this it is not always easy to say what product does what. So I keep on changing my skincare routine so I don’t use a lot of really moisturizing products together with a really hydrating moisturizer because then it will be impossible for me to say anything about just one product. So therefor I keep on changing up my products to see what works together and what doesn’t.

This cream is white and feels light on your skin when applying it. It is not scented which is a big win for me. It is not that I hate product with perfume but I just prefer not using it so much. I guess it is more my nose telling me to stop than my skin wanting me to.

I did find that it takes a little longer to absorb into my skin. But bare in mind that I am using a lot of skincare products underneath and this is often the reason why it takes longer to absorb. You might experience this totally different depending on how you skincare routine looks.

If a moisturizer takes a little longer to absorb it only means that you have to wait a little longer to apply makeup. So not a big deal at all. If you are not super stressed in the morning that is.

No matter what products I use underneath it works well with everything. Some times there can be pilling when you apply a lot of products or simply products that don’t work together. Pilling is when you touch your skin and the products starts to crumble.

As for its moisturizing properties it is a really nice moisturizer. It is not a full point product for me due to my skin type but I think if you are more to the normal to dry type this would be amazing for you.

Conclusion

I really do like this moisturizer. It feels hydrating on the skin and works with everything I put underneath. If you are looking for a new favorite this might just be it.

I give this product 6/7
