Pyunkang yul is a brand that I have experienced both hits and misses with. They either have products I really like or products I really don’t like. So I was really looking forward in trying this one out.

My thoughts on Pyunkang Yul Peeling gel

Exfoliating is super crucial for me. I have really dry skin and if I don’t exfoliate my skin looks patchy and my makeup doesn’t look very nice on my skin. I love using peeling gels just because they are really gentle to the skin and I can do a little quick fix before applying makeup. If you don’t know how often you should exfoliate you can read this post which explains it a little bit more.

Packaging

Pyunkang Yul Peeling gel comes in a white plastic bottle. It is really clean looking and I think it is a nice fit for the product.

Texture and scent

Wow are you in for a surprise with this one. It smells really chemical and not very nice at all. I usually prefer my skincare to be without scent but if a product smells as chemical as this one I prefer it to be drenched in rose scent (which I normally hate). Texture wise it is a semi-white smooth gel.

Does it work?

Well yes it does, but it sticks to my peach fuzz. If you are shaving your peach fuzz it might work great for you but if you don’t it will stick. It doesn’t stick so you have to pull it off but you need to use some type of cloth to remove the product where it got stuck. This is just super annoying and I don’t get why they even make product like this. I have used several great peeling gels that don’t stick to facial hairs so I know it is possible.

But it does a good job in removing my dead skin cells at least and it did not dry me out.

Conclusion

If you have any type of facial hairs. Beard or peach fuzz and if you can stand really strong chemical scent this is absolutely for you. If your answer is no, then you should search for another peeling gel.

I give this product 1/7
