My thoughts on Guerisson 9 complex cream

This is a products that you either love or hate. If you are a vegan you will definitely go towards hate instead of love. This due to that horse oil comes as a byproducts from the horse meat industry. I actually am conflicted about this product on a personal level. But I feel that it is a hyped products and I do have really dry skin so I felt I wanted to try it out and see if it might work for me.

I was recommended this product on Instagram when asking for tips on moisturizers on my really dry skin. So, I decided to try it out.

It is scented and the smell is really confusing. I do think that when you need to add a perfume or scent to a product. At least add something that smells nice. My nose simply hates this, and according to me it smells awful. A lot of people thinks it smells like citrus. I really only smell a scent more reminding me off green tea than citrus. But my nose is weird and still it is a scent that I don’t like. Normally green tea types of scents smells more fresh to me. But this one simply is a turn off.

The packaging

The packaging is really nice. It feels a little luxury compared to a lot of other products. And it comes with a spatula as well (good work).

Guerisson 9 complex cream is really thick in consistency and is light yellow in color. Some people say this is a lightweight cream and I really don’t get that. I bought this one from a regular Korean beauty store as I normally do so I really don’t think I have a faulty product. There are many copies circling out there so when you buy Korean beauty products first be sure to buy from Korea and from a seller that is highly rated. This specially when you buy from Ebay.

I feel that Guerisson 9 complex cream doesn’t penetrate, in stead it leaves an oily surface on my skin that never completely goes away. When I add foundation or BB cream the moisture in the cream still doesn’t penetrate on my skin. Instead everything just feels weird. So I stopped using it during days and instead I started using it only as a night moisturizers. Using it as a night cream is way better on my skin. But I still wake up in the morning without my skin feeling super happy.

The weird thing is that this should really be great for my skin and my skin should be happy, but I really don’t like it.

The ingredient list is really nice for me but still there is something not working on my skin. Still it is a really popular product so I do think it is more my skin not liking it that this not being a good product.
