Are the I’m From Rice Toner Pad Worth the Hype? My Thoughts!

The I’m from Rice Toner is a product that has been a highly rated products for quite some time and still it is a product I haven’t tried until now. This toner comes in a regular version (a bottle) which is what I usually go for when buying a toner and and this version which is toner soaked pad. These pre-soaked toner pad promise hydration and brightening of the skin tone. So, do they live up to the hype? Let’s dive in!

Description
This is a moisturizing and nourishing toner pad that helps boost hydration and keep skin bright glowy.
How to use it
After cleansing, wipe on skin and pat for absorption. It can also be used as a targeted face mask (apply to dry areas and let sit for about 20 minutes).

Rice Extract, Methylpropanediol, Triethylhexanoin, Hydrogenated Poly (C6-14 Olefin), Niacinamide, Pentylene Glycol, Common Purslane Extract, Rice Bran Extract, Japanese Elm Bark Extract, Amaranthus Caudatus Seed Extract, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Distilled Water, Polyglyceryl-10-Myristate, Butylene Glycol, Adenosine, Cellulose Gum, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol
Key ingredients & benefits
– Rice Extract (77.78%) – Hydrating ingredient.
– Niacinamide – A form of vitamin B3 that can help brighten dull skin, reduce hyperpigmentation, and improve skin elasticity. It also plays a key role in strengthen the skin’s barrier.
– Betaine – A humectant that deeply hydrates and soothes the skin, recent research also hints that it might help with uneven skin tone.
– Panthenol and Allantoin: Calm irritations and strengthen the skins barrier.
My thoughts on I’m From Rice Toner Pad
Packaging
These pad comes in a plastic container with a plastic tweezer. I find it to be just as good as any container, but not very travel friendly due to the probability of leakage. As a personal preference I would go for the bottle instead.
Texture, scent and application
The pad are really soaked with the toner but it isn’t too much so its dripping. I found them really easy to use and to apply to my skin.
The pad are unscented which is a big win for me. I really don’t enjoy overly scented product and do prefer my skincare to be without scent if possible. The texture of the toner is really smooth. It is on the thicker side of a toner. I prefer thicker toners since they are often more hydrating for my skin.
After application my skin feels smooth and hydrated and the toner absorbs quickly into my skin without leaving any sticky feeling behind. I still feel the need to apply the rest of my skincare routine as fast as possible, even though this is quite hydrating. I have really dry skin and at the time I am testing this product it is winter (going on spring) in Sweden which makes my skin extremely dry. If you have more normal to dry skin type this might be very hydrating for you.
Performance and results
This is a toner I was really looking forward in trying and I can’t say why I didn’t until now. I guess there are so many products I want to try so every time I was looking for a new toner this one wasn’t my first choice. But today I am super happy that I finally tried it. I found it to be really hydrating on my skin and as a super dry skin person this means a lot. That feeling of hydrated skin is nothing that last during the day. But I still haven’t found a product that can make my skin feel hydrating for a full day so I wasn’t expecting it to either.
It works well with the rest of my skincare routine and I didn’t experience any pilling of makeup or other reaction to the product. Absolutely a new product on my favorite list.
Conclusion
If you are experiencing really dry skin, this is absolutely for you. I am not a super fan of the packaging since you do get much more product if you buy it as in a bottle. The only positive side of having it as a pad is that you can use it as a facial mask on areas where you are more dry.
But an absolute winner in my book.
