My thoughts on Korres Hydra Biome Probiotic Superdose Face Mask
Received a sample size in one of my subscription boxes. Since it was a 20 ml tube the amount isn’t enough for me to be able to do a full review of it. So I will do a first impression on it.
According to the instruction of the product you are supposed to add a super thick layer. If I where to do that there would be only one use in this tube and if a product is supposed to be added in a super thick layer I cant see how this would be a smart buy at all. But hey, I will put my economical thoughts of the product aside and do some testing of the product.
The claims of Korres Hydra Biome Probiotic Superdose Face Mask is that you will have a glowing complexion after one use. So for this price and for the claims of it I will expect magic to happen.
The packaging is a soft plastic tube and I do think that this packaging is the best for cream products.
The mask is white and creamy and ha some scent to it that I really can’t place. I guess if I would explain it as a creamy smell.
When I use this as a regular mask I did add a thick layer. I would not consider it to be a super thick layer though (since there is no way to actually measure what that is). But when leaving it on for its recommended time I really don’t think that much of the product penetrates my skin.
In the description they recommend using a cloth when washing it off and I do feel that using a cloth is easier than just using water. Since it is a little harder to wash off the mask a cloth makes that process easier.
As a regular mask I can’t say it does anything for my skin. The claims is that there is an immediate result after one use. I really cant say it does anything at all. After removing it my skin doesn’t feel super moisturized. I do have really dry skin, but I used this during a period where my skin was only dry and not super dry. But I still didn’t noticed any difference.
This mask is a double type of mask. That means it can be used as a regular mask in a super thick layer or as a sleeping mask.
I do prefer using it as a sleeping mask instead of a regular mask. A sleeping mask is used on top of you moisturizer as an extra boost (you can read about sleeping masks here). And I do feel that it penetrates well in my skin when I use a thin layer like this.
Will I buy it again? Well, no. As simple as that.
I give this product 2/7
