My thoughts on The Inkey list hyaluronic acid cleanser

This is the second time I try anything from The Inkey list and this time I were way more happier than after the first product I tried.

Packaging

As of all The Inkey List products it comes in a black and white plastic bottle. Really nothing to say about it. it is simple and just suits the product type.

Texture and scent

The Inkey list hyaluronic acid cleanser is a foaming cleanser and should always be used with wet hands or on a wet face. I prefer foaming it up between my hands first. Instead of creating that foam on my face but that is just mainly a preference I guess. It works the same I just think I am used to lathering up before applying it.

It is rather liquid and don’t create much foam (just so you know) compared to other foam cleansers. But that is perfectly fine. It does say it is a light foaming cleanser. The cleanser is not scented but there is some scent to it. Not strong at all more the smell of the ingredients so if you are sensitive to smell this is perfect.

Cleansing abilities and thoughts

I have been using this as both a second cleanser following the Korean skincare method and the double cleansing steps. I don’t tend to use it alone if I have been using a lot of makeup since I do find it easier to remove most of my makeup with an oil cleanser.

The Inkey list hyaluronic acid cleanser does a good job in removing my base makeup. But I do find that it struggles with some eyebrow products if used on its own.

I bought this together with their balm cleanser and when using them in combination the results are amazing (but using the oat cleanser on its own was a total fail for me. Read my review here).

It is an easy to use cleanser that can be used as a second cleanser or on its own without leaving any residues on my skin. It does not dry my skin out and does not sting my eyes. So a really nice one according to me.

Conclusion

This is a really gentle hydrating cleanser that does a perfectly good job in cleansing my skin, with some hiccups regarding some eyebrow product. But an affordable cleanser that is absolutely worth trying out.

I give this product 6/7
