My thoughts on MISSHA Color Fix Eye Primer
I don’t use eyeshadows on a regular basis but when I do I really appreciate a good primer. I feel that an eyeshadow primer makes the eyeshadow look great the whole day without creasing. It gives a stronger color payout in general and I really don’t see anything negative about using it. I do know that a lot of people tend to use concealers as a primer. For me that is a big no no. Less product looks way better on me and I could never use a concealer like that.
I have tried a few primers before and my favorite so far is Etude House Proof 10 eye shadow primer.
To make a long story short I don’t buy products from Etude House any longer so I simply needed to find a nice replacement.
When looking at color choices I was looking for a primer with a nude shade (I have visible blood vessels on my upper eyelid so I prefer something covering that up a bit). So when going for a new one I bought a color that I thought would be great.. Well I was wrong this shade is just confusing.
It is more on the orange side than beige so I really don’t know what is going on there.

The packaging
MISSHA Color Fix Eye Primer packaging is really nice. It has a doe foot applicator and it is easy to use.
It blends nicely on the lid and doesn’t leave any sticky feeling. It more feels like it is smoothing the surface out. Making the product you put on top glide on smoother
When I smell the doe foot it really smells bad, same goes for sniffing inside the opening. But when I swatch the product it doesn’t smell at all. So I would guess it is the packaging that has some kind of scent. And it is not a good one.
As for its ability to make the shadows more vibrant I would yes but not a super big difference. I tried three eyeshadows just to see how they would react. I tried two eyeshadows from Etude House and one that is a mineral eyeshadow from Tikei (a Swedish vegan and cruelty free brand). I did notice a little difference on the Etude House shades but the Tikei shade was actually less vibrant with the primer on. And the shade is totally off. I tried using the primer with the Tikei eyeshadow yet again. Letting the primer really dry for about 20 minutes, then it worked well as a primer but the shade looked weird and much less vibrant.

I do feel that it is an ok primer, it does the job of increasing the lasting power of the eyeshadows. I used a cleansing wipe to remover the swatches and the shades with the primer wouldn’t really come off.

Conclusion
MISSHA Color Fix Eye Primer is an ok primer but not a favorite. I find the color jus off for me and I wished I would have tried the basic one instead.

I give this product 1/7
